WHAT CAN I COMMISSION?

Anything except for portraits of humans - regular portraits are not yet available. Examples below show various pet portrait commissions that I’ve painted. Examples of still lives and landscapes can be found in my art shop.

HOW WILL THE PROCESS GO?

Once you send in your inquiry email, we will communicate via email onward. If you’re commissioning a pet portrait, I will have you email me up to 10 photos of your pets and I will select the photo that will best translate into a painting. If you’re commissioning a landscape, I will have you email me a photo that you have personally taken - I will not paint photos that do not belong to you. If you’re commissioning a still life, I will create a few compositions of your idea that I think will best translate into a painting and email them to you. I will then edit the photo in Photoshop and email it for your approval. At this point I will collect the required non-refundable 50% deposit. Once I have your approval of the reference photo that I have created, I will begin painting your commission. This can take anywhere from a few weeks to a month or so, depending on the size and complexity of the commission. After the painting has been completed, I will email you a photo of it for your approval, to which you may make one (1) alteration. At this point if you make an alteration, I will edit the painting in Photoshop and then email you again for your approval. I will then let the painting dry for about a week, varnish the painting, let the varnish dry for about a week, and then ship the painting to you via USPS Ground Advantage. Once you receive the painting, the remaining 50% payment will be due.
